I'm anticipating graduating in 2025
Research Focus:
My research study will be about the Pennycress crop, which is an underdeveloped winter annual oil seed crop. Main aim of the project is to improve abiotic stress tolerance. During my study, I am particularly looking at the water logging tolerance and to identify the genetic variation conferring water logging tolerance & their phenotypic variation for the incorporation of next generation varieties.
Why OSU?
During my undergraduate I learned about plant genetics and breeding. I chose HCS at Ohio State University because I thought this master's program would open a pathway to learn advanced biological concepts to promote crop growth and production. I particularly chose OSU as it has some of the highest quality faculty & research experience in the world. And it will give enough training to address critical issues related to food and agriculture, to gain profound success in the field of agronomy.
