I'm anticipating graduating this Spring!
Research Focus:
My research in soybean focuses on strategies in plant genetics, breeding, and biotechnology that aim to enhance seed oil and protein contents. I identified and characterized genetic regions and genes associated with the traits. I also examed novel genetically engineered soybean lines created to render altered oil profiles and contents.
Why OSU?
I chose OSU because of the diversity in the HCS department's research and academic program. I also enjoyed the culture of and opportunities for student-run activities that the department has created and supported. And I like soybean, as it is a staple food in my culture (Vietnam).
